Mrs Gibson’s Primary 1 class – 12 girls and 13 boys – have settled well into school routine. In the first few weeks they’ve enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends while finding out about “Our School”. Our first whole school assembly was on 3rd September and we practised our school song.

Everyone is trying hard with reading and writing, and maths activities are progressing well. Most children are staying in school for lunch and here again everyone is coping well – always remembering their manners.

Although the weather is getting colder we will continue to spend time outdoors – in the courtyard, the multi-purpose court and in the playground.

Please try to visit our area during the coffee morning (25.9.09) – we look forward to seeing you then!
